New Semester

Sometimes it's funny being on the other side. You know? When you're at Broulim's or Walmart and you see 5-6 chatty girls like they're best friends talking about who will buy what. You see it every new semester. And you know what? Every semester that starts I think the same thing...."Man I am SOOOO glad that's not me!" Don't get me wrong, I had some good times in college. It was a fun time of life. I met some life long friends there, I met the love of my life there, I have some really great memories. But  I don't miss it. I don't ever wish that I could go back. I don't miss school. I don't miss the new roommate bit. I don't miss the dating scene. I don't miss any of that! Every new semester I am that more grateful that I have the eternal roommate that I do! That I never have to do any of that ever again. Just last night we went to Craigo's and were bombarded with all of this. A table of LOUD annoying college kids and I was happy I was on the other side of things. I will be even more glad when we move out of Rexburg and don't have to be around it anymore. But for now I'm just glad that that part of my life is done and gone and that I'm not starting a new semester!
